About the Artist
Maddy Halbach is a multimedia artist based in Leland, NC. She has won art competitions with her mixed media paintings and wearable art. Her creations are inspired by her surroundings and imagination. Since 2017, her hand-painted wedding dress, appropriately named "Lily Pond," has been featured in museums, galleries, and major shopping malls in and around Maryland and its surrounding areas. Maddy believes that art is a way of expressing oneself and that it can have a positive impact on people's lives. She hopes to continue developing her skills as an artist and sharing her work with others.

Angels of Modern Life
Innocence, Crying Time, and Pray for Peace were modern angels entrusted with bringing hope to a world that had forgotten it. They soared into the abyss of despair, spreading their wings to shield others from the darkness. Remembering the beauty of the world, they sang a song of hope that echoed through the heavens. In that moment, the world was filled with light once again.
Coastal Art
Misplaced Kookaburra was a curious bird who loved to explore the coast. One day, he flew too far and got lost. As he searched for his way back, he met Egret Flying Over Marshes and Blue Heron Guardian, who offered to help him. Together, they found their way back home and became lifelong friends. Meanwhile, the Coast Shipwreck called Lost Soul stood as a reminder of the dangers of the sea, but also of the beauty and mystery that lies beneath the waves.
